Booking terms
These terms apply to every velada booked on thereal.city. The service is provided by Evolution Worldwide, S.L. (see our legal notice).
What you book
A private velada of four hours with us in Seville, at lunchtime or in the evening, for your party only.
Food and drink
Food and drink at the stops on the route are included up to a shared allowance for your party of €65 per adult and €30 per child aged 6 to 12 (children under 6 share from the party's allowance). Your host helps you choose and takes care of the ordering across the stops; anything outside the allowance is only ordered with your OK, and tells you before your party goes over the allowance. Anything extra you'd like on top is paid by you directly at the bar, to the bar. Unused allowance is not refunded or carried over.
Entrance fees and other visits
Entrance fees to monuments, museums, shows or any other paid visit are not included in the price. If you'd like to add one, we agree it with you first; we then send you a secure payment link for the exact price of the tickets and, once paid, we book them in your name. We don't add any margin to tickets.
Price and payment
€650 for one adult on their own, €750 for two adults, €170 for each additional adult, €50 for each child aged 6 to 12; children under 6 are free. Prices are in euros and include VAT. You pay the full amount when you book, by card through Stripe. We never store your card details.
Confirmation
We confirm your velada and pick-up time within 24 hours of payment, or within 2 hours if your velada is less than 48 hours away.
If you cancel
- At least 48 hours before your pick-up time (Seville time): full refund, or a free change of date. Refunds are issued within 5 working days. If you book less than 48 hours ahead, your booking is non-refundable from the moment of purchase.
- Less than 48 hours before, or if you don't show up: no refund.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. As this is a leisure service on a specific date, the 14-day withdrawal period for distance contracts doesn't apply (article 103 l of the Spanish consumer law, Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007); the cancellation terms above apply instead.
If we have to cancel
If we cancel for any reason, including severe weather or an emergency, you choose between a new date and a full refund.
During the velada
Guests aged 13 and over book at the adult rate. Alcohol is only served to guests aged 18 or over. Children must be accompanied by their parents or guardians at all times. Your host may end the velada if anyone's behaviour puts other people at risk; in that case no refund is due.
WhatsApp after your velada
For the two days after your velada, from 10:00 to 21:00, we answer your questions on WhatsApp: recommendations and reasonable help such as trying to get a table. It doesn't include guaranteed bookings, emergencies, transport or medical assistance.
Invitation codes
An invitation code gives 10% off the first velada of the person who uses it. Each code can be used once, can't be combined with other discounts and has no cash value.
Changes to your party
To add or remove guests, write to paula@thereal.city at least 48 hours before. We charge or refund the difference.
Complaints
Write to paula@thereal.city and we reply within 48 hours. Official complaint forms (hojas de quejas y reclamaciones de la Junta de Andalucía) are available on request.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Nothing in them limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
